Lake Protector Workshop w/ the ADK Park Invasive Plant Program

  • Adirondack Interpretive Center 5922 New York 28N Newcomb, NY, 12852 United States (map)

Since 2002, Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program has trained hundreds of volunteers to learn how to identify, survey, and record data about aquatic invasive plants and animals impacting Adirondack lakes. It is a fun and easy way to protect Adirondack lakes! Volunteers can complete this 3-hour training, sign-up to monitor a lake, monitor the lake for 1-3hrs at least once between July and September, and report findings. Join us, Friday, August 16th at 9am, for this workshop to become a part of the Lake Protector Community.
